The Cagayan de Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc. [ORO CHAMBER], has committed through its Creation of Opportunities and Resources Management for Enterprises [CORE] Project, to advocate for micro, small and medium enterprise [MSME] development, capacitate these players in the local business area, and provide technical assistance along product development in partnership with other enabling enterprises and organizations.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT SYMPOSIUM

Through this one-day activity, we want to note the past and existing efforts along product development in Cagayan de Oro and Northern Mindanao as well as present a stringent review on the basics for our entrepreneurs. We will highlight success stories and winning products indigenous to our area, and most of all, try to translate opportunities to real business ventures.

We are targeting an audience of local enterprises which need that extra motivation and technical input to further improve their products and services, thus raise their bottom lines. And most of all, we encourage the presence of participants who shall take the educated step towards entrepreneurship and business development.

Speakers include officers from the Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Science and Technology, Technical Skills and Development Authority, and the Philippine Coconut Authority. Talks will also be given by Vjandep Pastel and Suka Pinakurat. The main resource speaker for the activity is Prof. Mario Lopez of the Asian Institute of Management.

A minimal registration fee of P500 will be charged to cover for food, materials and certificate.
